MKH Racing will make its British GT Championshipreturn at Donington’s season finale with a new driver line-up for its AstonMartin GT4.

After a cameo appearance at the end of 2023 the teamwas scheduled to contest all four of this year’s Endurance Cup rounds withco-founders Peter Montague and Stuart Hall. But, having missed the summer’sthree-hour Spa-Francorchamps enduro, MKH is now competing as a race-by-raceentrant with the new pairing of Michael Orant and Owen Hizzey.

After an impressive first season of racing in theGinetta GT Academy, scoring a podium on his debut appearance in the G56, Orantlater went on to spend 2024 racing with fellow British GT team, PaddockMotorsport, in GT Cup.

Multiple podium finishes as well as a win, coincidentally at Donington, puts Orant in good stead ahead of his return tothe East Midlands circuit for next month’s finale.

“Having raced against Owen in GT Cup I know how quickhe is. I’m looking forward to seeing what we can do together in the AstonMartin,” he said. “British GT has always been my goal, so it is great to havethe opportunity to jump in with MKH for the season finale. I can’t wait to getgoing.”

Hizzey, similarly to Orant, has substantial Ginettaand GT Cup experience, and has also spent the majority of the 2025 seasonracing in the 24H Series.

“I’m excited to make my British GT debut with Michaeland the MKH team in the Aston Martin,” he said.“GT Cup this year has been agreat experience, and my previous success in the24H Series has been animportant part of my development. To now step into such a promising car inBritish GT is a fantastic opportunity, and I’m looking forward to working withthe team to build on that and fight for a strong result.”

MKH team manager Andrew Kirk added: “We’re excited tofill our Aston Martin seats for the final round at Donington. After sitting outSpa due to a driver injury, the team is eager to get back on track. Thispairing is a great fit for us; Owen brings a wealth of GT racing experience, while Michael’s development – from the Ginetta GT Academy to GT Cup over thepast few seasons – marks a natural progression and we’re thrilled to supporthis continued growth.”

“We’re happy to be backin the British GT paddock aftera few rounds off,” said Hall. “We secured back-to-back Endurance Cup podiums inthe first two races, and I’m sure with the pairing of Owen and Michael we cancontinue that streak and enter the winter break with some strong momentum.”

Drivers and teams will tackle the typical Doningtonformat of testing on Thursday before returning Saturday for practice andqualifying.
